10:00 Opening Speech and Battle (reenactment of the Gaspee Affair)
10:05-12:30 In varying order, visit "village posts" such as:
The Stamp Act: Learn what it might have been like to pay a fee for every document you had. Will you stand up for your liberties, or hand over your dues to the tyrannical Andrew Oliver?
The Blacksmith: Come and learn about the forge and how to cast pewter soldiers and musketballs. Be careful though, the Redcoats don't take kindly to blacksmiths who haven't paid their taxes.
The Admiralty Court: Go before the admiralty court judge to plead your case. Students will get put on trial and try to win their freedom before a kingsman who acts as prosecutor, judge and jury and gets paid a nice sum if he finds you guilty.
Etiquette: As a young boy of not yet sixteen years of age, George Washington copied out a set of instructions morals and manners. Learn the proper forms of behavior and be tested on your new knowledge.
A Well Regulated Militia: Learn to drill and march as part of the town militia. This training may come in handy later if redcoats attack the town.
Weaving: After England announced its intention to govern us "in all things whatsoever," it became patriotic to "just say no" to English broadcloth. Learn why, and weave a little wool in to the bargain.
The Quartering Act: Watch as the redcoats burst into your home and demand housing and food. Make sure the biscuits are finished before they come back!

18th Century Games: Take a break to play some fun 18th century games out on the green. Learn about trap ball, hoop and stick, graces, and more!

  ...and More!
