Tomahawk Throwing Workshop

The tomahawk was uniquely American tool which was used in sport, to see if the contestant could throw the hawk for accuracy. by seeing if it would stick into the middle of a log from a distance. The tomahawk was really used as a hatchet for chopping wood, or barnches, but was also made useful as a weapon in both Europe and in the wilderness by back woodsmen and native Americans. The head of the tomahawk was of an early design used in the middle ages, and the Indians in North American, who originally had wood and stone war clubs, adopted the iron tomahawks as a trade item. Throwing a small "ax" was also used n Europe during the Frankish period (the name Frank is derived from the type of battle ax used).
