Why it pays to order ahead! 
Believe it or not, it takes a lot of work to make an honest apple pie.  We only make as many as we think we're going to sell, and if you arrive too late, we might not have any!     You know you'll be visiting Oak Glen soon.   Why not put your name on a pie ahead of time?
 
Mountain Apple Pie

Double Crust Apple Pie: We mound up cut apples in the distincitive mountain shape, then add a touch of lemon juice and a good helping of cinnamon and brown sugar. Then the top crust is added and about an hour before you arrive, and it will be cooked to a gold brown perfection. $15 Each

Crumb Crust Apple Pie: Pretty much the same as the double crust but with a chewy sweet topping of brown sugar crust. $15 Each

Fresh Ground Wheat Bread, Baked Daily  

Fresh Ground Wheat Bread, Large Loaf:   The good things in life are really very simple, but simple is hard to find in the world of mass production.   The recipe:  fresh ground wheat flour, (ground the morning it's baked), water, vegetable oil, yeast, and lots of honey.  Our guests tell us that one slice of this bread is enough to provide a full meal.   See if they're telling the truth.
