These are really blackberries without the serious thorns.   (You still have to be careful about the vine, but it's nothing like wading through a wild blackberry bush.)

When can we u-pick?

 

  Blackberries (we have Ollalieberries) start usually in late June or Early July.   Latest word:  Mario says blackberries should be ready around July 6th, 2006.

Please Note:  the availability of the crop depends on many factors beyond our control  New berries ripen every day, and if we have many pickers, we may be "picked out" on any given day.  Early pickers have an advantage.  If you want to make sure, it is best to call 909-790-TIME before your arrival.

Where do we go?   Riley's Farm - Oak Glen Road  Entrance.   (Do not use the Mile High Entrance)  See maps below.   When you arrive at the farm, check in at the general store.  ("K" on the old fashioned farm map;  after purchasing your picking containers, you will head to the berry patch behind the blacksmith's, "L".)
Rules?  

Children must stay with parents;  everyone who enters the patch (except children under 3) must purchase a picking container.  No mounding.   Anyone without a picking container purchased from us will be asked to leave.

 

If you are allergic to bees, (or squeamish about them)  do not pick berries.
