Lemonade
Krystle says she made this batch by taking one cup fresh
blackberries, blending them on medium, straining the juice, adding
lemonade to taste.
Chill. Serve on ice for best taste and add fresh
blackberries if desired. |

Cherry Tarts
Lizzy reminds us this a "warm" cool thing. This one is
made with a homemade butter, cream cheese & flour crust.
The filling starts with one cup of fresh blackberries and one cup
of fresh, pitted cherries. Cook down and cool to room temperature.
Mix in fresh, whole blackberries. Roll out pastry
crust in squares approximately 4" x 4".
Fill each tart with 1/2 cup of filling. Bake at
350 for twenty minutes.

Lattice Top Pie
Filling: mix five cups of fresh blackberries, one cup of
sugar, three tablespoons of corn starch. Mix a whole
egg together and wash the bottom of the pie shell. Pour into pie
shell and top. Egg wash the top pastry and dot lattice
holes with butter. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
Serve with ice cream.
