For the price of admission, one of our farm hands will
guide you on a walking tour of
the orchards, followed by a cider pressing
and pie-baking demonstration. Along
the way, you’ll learn a bit about the history of apple
farming in colonial America.
For example, can you guess the
name of the apple below? (It's one of the first
cultivated in America). The brown scales on the apple
("russeting") helped this apple last a long time in New
England root cellars.
