Patriots and Parishioners

We had a full public house on Saturday with the Pasadena Patriots and our larger than normal walk-in crowd. The first of the Ollalie Berries went pretty quickly, but the Sunday rest brought out some more, according to Mario, so picking should be at least reasonable today.

Special thanks to Jeff Viar, a Pasadena Patriot for the pictures:

"Patrick Henry"

In our house church worship, we resolved to learn harmonies and in the era of the internet and midi editing, it should be reasonably easy. Here's "Come Thou Almighty King," with the various parts emphasized:

Soprano Alto Tenor Bass

Theoretically, if you turn the balance to the right, you'll hear your part a bit amplified above the rest. Some people can hear harmonies right off the bat. I have to memorize my part, as though it were the melody line. Give it a try. (Between you and me, there's some good praise music out there, but nothing matches the old hymns and psalms.)
