Fruit Picking at Riley's Farm

Check The Farm Calendar for other farm activities!

Strawberries
Strawberries are newcomers to Riley's Farm and we don't have a huge crop, but the crop we have is very, very tasty. Unlike most strawberry patches, we let you pick your own.

Ollalie Berries
Ollalieberries are a great variety of blackberry without the mean thorns. They tend to be ready from late June through early July for about two weeks only, so watch for this crop here.

Cherries at Mile High
Cherries are available from our Mile High Farm (909) 797-5145. You can't pick cherries by using the Riley's Farm entrance. Use this map instead.

Raspberries
We are expecting a stupendous raspberry crop this year. Details.

Hopeless Romantics:
Berry Picking Date Night!

Flowers Our flower field is worth the trip up by itself. You can pick your own zinnias, baby's breath, and bachelor buttons from mid August through Mid September. See some pictures of the flower crop.
The Bartlett Pears we raise seem to come on every year, no matter the weather. We're down to just a few for the real searchers among you..

Apples:   We have extensive plantings of Rome Beauty, Granny Smith, and Antique Delicious Apples. In the next few years, our heirloom apples should also be ready for harvest. Apple picking usually occurs from late August through Early November.

Peaches are hit and miss up here, because of our altitude, but when we get a good crop--watch out. They are the size of softballs. Look for them in the general store, when the crop comes, if it comes in, in August. .

Pumpkins!
We grow acres and acres of Pumpkins with varieties including Connecticut Field, Rouge Vif D'etampes, Tom Fox and more. They are generally available from early October through Early November.
