| Oak Tree Village | Oak Tree Village is located in the middle of the historic apple farming community of Oak Glen, California. The area was settled in the mid 1800’s but it wasn’t until 1898 that Oak Glen’s identity was established when Isaac Ford of Snowline Ranch produced the first commercial fruit orchard of Rome apples. The rest, as they say, is history. The apple farms of Oak Glen now produce over 60 different types of apples. Planting a large variety of apples allows the harvest to continue for a three-month period (September through November) because different varieties are harvested at different times. |
