The Irish have contributed to American culture since, well, since the whole grand experiment began!  George Washington took Boston from the British on St. Patrick's Day, 1776.     Paul Revere borrowed his famous horse from an Irish American--Deacon Larkin.    The Irish have been valiant soldiers in all of America's conflicts, and according to Oak Glen legend, Enoch Parrish founded the first apple farm here on St. Patrick's Day--1867.
Be Irish with us for a day and celebrate a great American tradition.
