Part Time Acting & Living History Job Opportunities

"I have long since made my peace with the King of Kings, Sir!"

Those words were spoken by Samuel
Adams in response to a veiled threat made by a
British colonel stationed in Boston just prior to
the Revolutionary War. The crown officer was hoping
to buy off the opposition with a pension, and
Mr. Adams would have nothing
to do with it.

Can you imagine this scene
between Colonel Fenton and Samuel Adams?
Could you play the part?

Colonial Chesterfield at Riley's Farm seeks part time
actors to serve as living history interpreters for its
popular Revolutionary War and Civil War school
tour programs.

Successful applicants will be required to use
18th and 19th century period language in a
series of improvisational dramatic  sketches
geared towards school children,
ages 10-17.    Job assignments will generally
be on weekdays from 9:30 AM
to 2:30 PM.    Successful applicants
will also be required to perform site preparation
and cleanup.   Period clothing will be provided.

This is seasonal, part-time work at minimum wage.
